Shah Rukh Khan had once opened up about his childhood days and how his mother had fed him with her own hands till he was 25-years-old
Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most-sought after actors in Bollywood. Over the years, his fandom has grown bigger and stronger not only because of his exceptional performances, but also due to his candid confessions and witty personality. While today he might be an indestructible force in the entertainment industry, he has never shied away from talking about his life experiences. In an old interview, he had shared a few anecdotes from his childhood that had left the fans in awe of him.
Talking to the Parent Circle in 2018, the 57-year-old actor has recalled how as a kid he always wanted to be grown up. He shared how now that he was old he really missed his childhood as it’s the “best time of our lives,” since everyone is so carefree. He went on to recall how his mother used to hand feed him food until he was 25-years-old. Adding that he still doesn’t like eating from his own hands. “I look ridiculous!,” he said. The Pathaan actor went on to reveal that he has grown up eating Mughlai and Deccani food. His father being a Pathan, he grew up eating legendary food that was cooked by him. He shared, “My Pathan father's raan would make a perfect combo with my Hyderabadi mother's mutton biryani and the khatti dal. My parents used to mix these and feed me. He further spoke about his love for cooking and revealed how he baked Batman cookies with his older son Aryan, when he was a little kid. He added “I can boil eggs, make tea. And I make very good phulkas. I can make rather decent pasta also.”
For the unversed, SRK tied the knot with Gauri Khan in 1991. They embraced their first parenthood with son Aaryan Khan in 1997 and went on to have two more adorable kids Suhana and AbRam.
Talking about his kids, Suhana is all set to make her much awaited debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The Netflix movie will also star Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda in lead roles. On the other hand, Aryan will be making his much awaited debut as a filmmaker. Earlier last year, he announced the launch of his premium vodka brand in India, D’YAVOL.
On the work front, after enjoying the immense success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan has movies like Jawaan and Dunki along with a cameo in Tiger 3 in his pipeline.
